In his speech "10th Anniversary and the Scientific Enterprise" delivered in 1931 at a meeting dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the People's Revolution, Prime Minister A. Amar emphasized the importance of the study of land, country, natural substances, and springs, as well as the development of methods for the processing of foods and beverages of milk and meat origin, which was a clear manifestation of the state's great attention to the development of chemical sciences. When the SHUA Natural Sciences Park was first established in 1961, it included the Departments of General and Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry, which became the basis for the formation of the current Chemical and Chemical Technology Park. Subsequently, in 1968, the Department of Chemistry was established independently, with departments of general and analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry and agrochemistry.
