Mongolian Academy of Sciences hold an online meeting among
its Presidiums to discuss and select the projects to be implemented by the MAS grant
in 2020.
The project materials are selected in accordance with the
"Procedure for implementing science and technology projects" and the
"Procedure for awarding grants to research organizations and researchers"
which approved by Protocol No. 5 of the Presidium, Mongolian Academy of
Sciences in 2017.
The MAS generally grants 10-30 projects to be implemented
every year. This year 20 proposals have been selected to implement in 2020 from
29 project proposals.
This grant has been awarded to more than 100 young scientists
since its launch in 2005 with Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and
Sports. More than 90 percent of awardees
who have earned degrees already and are working productively in their devoted science
fields.
