A series of simplified science books is ready to reach its
readers. The Mongolian Academy of Sciences annually publishes a series of
simplified science book for children and for the science popularization for the
public since 2015.
This series of books written by
MAS scientists simplify the knowledge of many fields of science in a simple and
understandable way. and under propose of educating
children with the scientific knowledge which further lead the children into
scientific citizens.
For the year of 2019 the series
reached to 54 and the MAS scientists enriched the science series by following
themes: “Artificial intelligence”, “3D printing”, “Mongol Marmot”, “A magician
of liquid gold” “Water energy”, “Atmosphere”, “Heritage”, “Livestock meat” “What
is sugar?”, “Wonders of Symmetry”.
For the distribution of the
series the MAS holds a book opening ceremony including representatives from the
General education school pupils and the authorities every year for distribution
of series for free of charge. Children hand the books from the library of their
enrolled General education school.
Even though children advised to
stay home due to current situation, the series well be kept and waiting for
them in their libraries.
